Alienware Alpha - First PC Gaming Console Currently Shipping

AlienWare is shipping its Alpha device which promises to blur the lines between PC and console gaming. The AlienWare Alpha is the world's first PC gaming console. It connects to a monitor or your living room TV to bring you over 600 steam controller supported titles. It is currently shipping and can be purchased online at places like Amazon Bestbuy.com,GameStop, NewEgg and TigerDirect. For $549 you can get the base model which comes with an Xbox 360 controller, 4GB of RAM, a Core i3 processor, a GeForce GTX 860M graphics card and a 500GB HDD + 32GB SSD. If those specs aren't high enough you can pay $699 for 8GB of RAM and a 1TB drive or $799 for 8GB, a 2TB drive and an i7 CPU.
